A long time ago, man had conquered over his primitivism wheeling the future of entire mankind towards comfort and intellect. It had started with the 'wheel' and is now continuing in innumerable innovations and creations. And under all this lies an immense power called 'knowledge', the power, which mankind has been exuberating all around.
And today in this knowledge century, every university or college strives to reach international students in every possible nook and corner of the world. Even the respective governments of their countries support them in their efforts, as international students simply pay higher fees eventually bringing foreign revenue to the country. Same is the case at students' end. Their insatiable craving for knowledge and learning, land them in farthest corner of the world. No one had ever anticipated that the business of international students' recruitment would become such important one day!
Considering the foreign education providers, India as a market cannot be ignored India sends the world's highest number of students abroad. Estimates put Indians spending on studies abroad to be upwards of $10 billion. Every year, about 1,75,000 students make their way to foreign shores for higher studies. This number has been increasing at a healthy rate of 10% annually. Over and above this, the number of students going overseas for studies is a mere 1-2% of the total number of eligible students. This signifies a huge scope for increasing this percentage through greater penetration of foreign educational institutions in India.
